Analogies

Okay ready for some bragging?! I'm getting annoyingly good at analogies... I think I'm turning into my father.
It's pretty legit. I came up with a WHOLE long one about how my life was like a lake. That's when I realized I probably have an analogy problem.
I can remember my old man having 'annoying' analogies for everything when we were growing up (No offense dad cause now I love em). Funny how you appreciate things like that when you 'grow' up. ;)

Song stuck in my head:

"But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and I feel so rough
No you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know" -Gotye

10 steps to get over someone

1) Tell them EVERYTHING! How embarrassingly "in love" you are with them. (It takes away the 'what ifs')

2) Set a date, a date that if they don't contact you by then they can 'never' come back. (3 weeks is suggested according to most internet sites)

3) Cry EVERYWHERE tell you don't want to cry anymore.

4) Don't get mad, be thankful for the person and everything they taught you.

5) Sincerely wish the best for them.

6) Don't blame yourself. (Cause you're awesome and they just DIDN'T see it)

7) Smile if you see them. (I find it helps to pretend they are just a random boy/girl on the street that you've never met)

8) Pray your heart out.

9) Tell yourself that it's okay to give up that they AREN'T coming back.

10) Talk to your friends, run, and eat candy. ;)

Google Problem

I have a Google-ing problem. The first step to overcoming it is admitting it! :)

My zombie problem:

Juli and I were talking about where we were a year ago and decided to look in our journals so we could laugh at our younger much stupider selves. Looking back, EXACTLY a year ago I had made a list of things that scared me. Well most of those were legit fears; like choosing the wrong person to marry, failing classes, and being alone. On that list was also....zombies. It's been exactly a year since my zombie phobia started! I kind of do this thing where I try to think of what I'd do if zombies attacked, RIGHT NOW. I can tell you how to exit just about an room and in anyway. I used to be worried that I was the only one, but I actually had a coworker that did the same thing. So, it's totally normal.... I think. Needless to say when the Zombies attack, you'll probably want to be with me. ;)

I like...

Single ladies running club

My roommates Juli, Jana, and our friend Kayla from the complex next door started a running club. Since my resume was the most impressive, no offense, I am the El Presidente. It's kind of a big deal! ;) My full title is El Presidente Forest. As in run forest run! Jana is Vice President (in case I get shot). Kayla is secretary. Juli is the treasurer. We meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at nine in the evening and go run at the park. Next we decided we need a catchy name thus the Single ladies running club was born. Our motto is "Won't be single for long". Our theme song (among other songs) is all the single ladies. We're thinking we need legit t-shirts, we want them to be pink. I'm pretty excited! We had rules but I forgot most of them. I only remember that you have to be single at the time of joining. You can NEVER quit, you can only be voted off.
